Denise began studying yoga 16 years ago to find some peace from a stress related lifestyle. Vincent began his journey with yoga over six years ago as a way to help recover from a sports related injury. Through regular practice he has found yoga to be an incredible tool for physical recovery, self-illumination and discovery. Vincent completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification in June 2008 under RYT Karen Soroko, and has been teaching regularly since March 2008. He hopes to make a professional career out of teaching and training others how to make a regular yoga practice a part of their lives.

Keith Root began his Tai Chi journey in 1993. He briefly studied Wu Style before finding his way home with Yang family Tai Chi Chuan. He started with Chen Man Cheng’s short form before learning Doc Fai Wong’s short and intermediate forms, and two weapon forms; the sword and fan. Presently, Keith is continuing his study of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and Yi-Quan with Fong Ha. Keith is certified in the Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Diabetes programs and is very active with the local Arthritis Foundation chapter. Keith was recently appointed as Senior Trainer by the Tai Chi for Arthritis program in 2007.
Michala Cornell
Michala is a Level 2 Stott Pilates trainer in Mat and Reformer work. She has a degree in dance from the University of Minnesota and has instructed dance for many years. Pilates is a form of exercise to keep the body flexible, strong, and functional for the long run. She loves hoe Pilates can change the way people function in their everyday lives, and find more support and strength in their body. Shannon McGarrigle
Shannon earned a BA in Dance through the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.Introduced to Pilates through classes in college she returned back to Minnesota to gain certification through the STOTT Pilates method. She is certified as a level one teacher in Pilates Mat and Reformer. She enjoys how the method can be adapted to all different body types and loves working to encourage body awareness. “Taking a Pilates class is sometime the only real break people may have in their busy day, it is a healthy experience to take just even an hour to think entirely about what your body is doing and checking in to see how your body feels.” Shannon is thrilled to be a part of the YogaSoul Center.

Opal McCarthy is a poet who loves to incorporate sound, rhythmic breathing and a creative focus into each of her yoga classes. Rachael has been in private practice as a massage and wellness professional since 1998 educating and supporting her clients with a mixed-modality approach.
