Tai Chi

This class will cover the cultivation, manifestation and utilization of internal energy. It will specifically show how the practice of Tai Chi Chuan can accomplish those ends. Through demonstration and audience participation, the principles and methods of Tai Chi will be used to show how this ancient art can used for regaining ones health be it physical, mental or spiritual. Participants are asked to wear loose clothing and to expect to be barefoot, in stocking feet or shoes that are not used for street purposes.

Spiritual Belly Dance

Nourish the divine creative energy that flows through you!  The movement of dance affects every energy center in the body. Learn how to open and move energy within these centers. Each class will open with a grounding visualization to connect us to mother and end with a closing visualization to send love and gratitude to our bodies.  Through balance, movement and breath work, come into alignment with your true feminine energy.

This is a beginner series: no previous dance skills are required. Wear workout or dance wear, something comfortable to move in, you are welcome to bring a hip scarf to accentuate the movements, but it isn’t necessary.
